줄거리: 살인사건이 로스앤젤레스 시에 터진다. 젊은 일본형사 마이클 나카가와는 목격자도 없고 증인도 없는 사건을 맞게 된다. 살인이 계속 진행되자, 나카가와 형사는 그 살인들은 “The Whisperer” (귓속말하는 자) 에 의해서 조정된다는 것을 발견한다. 귓속말하는 자로부터 유일한 생존자 앨리스는 그와 함께 미스터리한 이 사건의 뿌리를 발견하려 노력한다. As the murder continues, detective Nakagawa discovers that the murders were controlled by a mastermind called "The Whisperer." Through a girl named Alice, the only survivor of the Whisperer, they try to get to the root of this mystery.) 연출의도. 이 영화는 우리 사회에 대한 시각이며. 어떻게 사람들이 이 시니컬 한 세상에 의해 쉽게 영향을 받고 또 이용되는 지에 대해 보여준다. 몬스터가 무엇인가? 진짜 몬스터들은 누구인가? 만일 이 몬스터가 어떤 초현실주의 적인 것이 아니라 사실은 이웃이라면….나는 이런 생각들과 컨셉에 대해 생각하고 이 영화를 만들게 되었다. (It shows a view of our society and how people are easily influenced or manipulated by this cynical world. I wanted to make a film that was going to depict the true nature of evil. What is the meaning of monster? Or who are real monsters? What if the monster you fear isnt some supernatural being, in fact, it is your next door neighbor. I was very fascinated by these ideas and concepts and led me to work on this project.)
